During your stay on the Costa Tropical there are a multitude of activities and events taking place throughout the year. So, as well as enjoying the fantastic weather and our carefully selected Costa Tropical holiday rental properties, we recommend the following activities that may be of interest:

Daily (except Sunday)		MUNICIPAL MARKET selling fresh fish, meat, fruit and vegetables from local producers 9.00 - 14.00 hrs in Avenida de la Cala. Very popular with the locals.
Every Friday		MERCADILLO, a local market held every Friday 9.00 - 14.00hrs in the fairground area opposite the petrol station.
23rd/24th June 8th - 15th August		Fiesta de San Juan. Ferrier, culminating with an spectacular half hour firework display set to music.
29th September		FIESTA DE SAN MIGUEL, local fiesta lasting three days in the San Miguel district bordering, the castle.
October		FIESTA DE LA CHIRIMOYA, culminating on the 12th with celebrations including gastronomic competitions and tastings.
Tuesday to Sunday Daily		SAN MIGUEL CASTLE open 10.30 - 13.30 and 16.00 - 18.30 (closed Sunday afternoon). LORO SEXI BIRD PARK open 11.00 - 14.00 and 16.00 - 18.00 (Winter) and 11.00 - 14.00 and 18.00 to 21.00 (Summer) entrance in Calle Bikini off the Plaza de Abderraman on the beachfront below the castle.
